Yeah the book is a bit all over the place and it takes a while to get used to it’s randomness. In the end it was worth it though and ended up being a great read.

I read it all, and there is only one I disagree with: owls are the only bird that can see blue.

What about those birds that collect blue items? I saw them on animal planet. the males collect (and sometimes steal) piles of blue items to attract a mate.
Just thought I’d bring that up.
